A Juice To Suit Every Mood

We ask Imbibery juice founders to come up with the ultimate juice guide

The ideal juice… to fight hay fever

This juice will require: Pineapple, ginger, some turmeric, and if you can source it, local honey. The anti-inflammatory properties of these ingredients and the rich in Vitamin C, will help boost your immune system to fight off hay fever symptoms! Our Exotic juice embodies all these properties, in fact, Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapples, reduces swelling, even in your nose and sinuses!

The ideal juice… post work-out

Depending on how intense our work out, we go for a high octane green juice which packs a punch with potassium boosting celery or a protein-rich cashew mylk. If you’re making something at home, why not combine your favourite nut mylk with your green juice and  throw in some beautiful raw fresh baby spinach leaves or celery. We do this by adding a spinach shot to our mylks, which are 100 per cent spinach juice and nothing else. Try our Hydroor Green or one of our Cashew Mylks.

The ideal juice… to wake you up

A green!! You should always start your day with a green juice! We have a huge variety of options and always mix it up!

The ideal Juice…to make your skin glow

Greens are the key to glowing skin! Spinach helps repair cells and fight free radicals. Cucumber helps give your skin a natural collagen boost and celery keeps your skin hydrated. Add a bit of alkalizing lemon and anti-inflammatory ginger to encourage skin to glisten and glow.

The ideal juice… all Green

The perfect green juice is really up to you and your taste buds. The key to making a green juice excellent is sourcing great quality baby spinach! The ingredient packs such a great punch and has the most mild, elegant flavour, in fact it contains the richest phytonutrient content of all the veggies. If you love citrus, load up on lemon and lime, if you want a kick, add that ginger! If you need something a bit sweeter, apples or pears are a great option as they are lower in sugar than most other fruits.

The Ideal Juice to… fight a Cold

Use the following ingredients in your juice to fight the toughest of colds!

Orange: Rich in Vitamin C and incredibly potent in antioxidant protection.

Carrot: Rich in Caratenoids, especially beta-carotene, helps regulate blood pressure levels, helps regulate blood sugar levels, and protects your immune system.

Ginger: Clears your sinuses and helps respitory cogestion. Ginger is a warming food, ideal for the winter months and helps promote blood circulation, warding off the chills.

Turmeric: An extremely potent fighter of inflammation, which is essential for a wholistically healthy body and triggers most illnesses. Without inflammation many diseases would not exist. Contains antiviral and antibacterial properties. Fights free-radicals that hamper your immune system. In the Ayurvedic tradition, turmeric is considered an antibiotic.

Lemon: A strong anti-bacterial natural remedy. Lemon contains copious Vitamin C. It is an amazing alkalizer, making your body an uninviting environment for illness. It can also help soothe sore throats and fight fevers.

Cayenne Pepper: Cayenne is an amazing immune booster. It’s a great decongestant and helps blood circulation (warming you up!) It has strong anti-flu, anti-cold, and anti-allergen properties. It also helps joint pain, for when your feeling under the weather and achey.
